First Time Setup

1. Setup a Reddit.com account

  • Sign up with email/pass (Not google, so you can later share accounts)!!
  • Add your profile picture in settings
  • Add your startup link in about description

2. Attach your Reddit account to OGTool

  • Scroll down to your Persona in Settings
  • Click Edit Account
  • Add your Reddit username and password and Save.
  • You can now post directly onto your account.

3. Make your comments more authentic

  • In OGTool go to Settings

  • Update your persona

  • Add stories your customers can relate to and share results.

  • Your comments will be way more authentic and this drives results.

4. Make sure your keywords look good!

  • Go to Keywords and confirm everything is good
  • If you need to retarget the keywords, click on Re-Onboard.
    • You generate a new set of keywords based on your website or target customer.
  • If you just need to edit your subreddits, click Manage Subreddits.

5. Generate a comment

  • Click Generate
  • Click Auto-Post to Reddit — It will post your comment directly to your linked Reddit account.
